We have recently updated the video page with some fresh lecture videos. Make sure to check these out (you certainly didn’t catch everything the first time). This will be the first wave of a number of videos that will be uploaded to the site this summer. We hope the video enhances your experience at camp and allows you to take some of the instruction you get in Spokane to your home squads.
COG Etiquette
If you are a vegetarian or vegan, your meals at the COG are kept in a
hotbox in the kitchen. Please communicate with the Chef that you are a
vegetarian and they will show you all of the options.
We have received complaints from the COG that debaters are putting
burritos and cookies into the toaster. The toaster is only for toast.
Don’t be dumb.

All-Star Debate Coach Jon Sharp to Guest Lecture and Debate in the Non-Trad Showdown This Year!
As a debater for Emory, jsharp won the Harvard and West Georgia tournaments, as well as the Dartmouth Round Robin, and was top speaker at Pittsburgh, Louisville, and the University of Kansas’ Heart of America. In addition, sharp has coached teams to multiple CEDA National championships as well as the elimination rounds of virtually all major college tournaments, including the NDT. He is also one of the members of the “Edebate Allstars” who recently left their mark on the community by steamrolling a number of teams at the professional debate tournament sponsored by the Bay Area Urban Debate League (Watch those debates here). He will be debating with his partner, and fellow allstar, Michael Hester in this year’s Non Traditional Showdown against the team of Scott Odekirk and Izak Dunn. The GDI is very happy to have him with us this summer and everyone should look forward to seeing the Edebate Allstars in action!
Laser Quest Announcements
Tomorrow we go to laser quest. All students should meet at the aluminum Jesus at 7pm with their lanyards/IDs on, their water bottle with their name on it, and money for the arcade. Remember to dress in dark colors so you will not get found.
Dinner will be held outside of Welch tomorrow. DO NOT go to the COG.
